She regaled the history of the group, the details of many early members' lives, why the organization was formed, and why the group's philanthropic support was so important over the century.

During the details of the presentation, Mrs. Rogers noted that references to McKinney were that the city had the "most beautiful women" and that the men of McKinney had the "most impeccable manners".
